Joining hands with Pacific Green
Successfully completed AUD 460 million financing
Recently, Pacific Green announced that the Limestone Coast North energy storage project has successfully completed its financing closure and has been officially handed over to Intera Renewables, a strategic investment firm led by Palisade Investment Partners in Australia, with a transaction value of AUD 460 million. As the energy storage battery cell supplier and energy storage battery compartment integrator of the project, Tianhe Energy Storage provided advanced energy storage technology and equipment support for the project, and assumed the responsibility of system performance guarantee and warranty, ensuring the safety, reliability, and long-term economic benefits of the entire energy storage system.
The successful completion of this financing not only showcases Pacific Green's leading position in new energy development, but also highlights Tianhe Energy Storage's technological advantages and financiability in the global energy storage market. As a leading global provider of energy storage products and system solutions, Tianhe Energy Storage's participation provides a solid guarantee for the reliable operation and stable returns of the project. Its rich experience in energy storage projects worldwide and stable financial situation also enhance the confidence of investment institutions in the project.
As the first benchmark project in Australia to achieve full process closed-loop, the Limestone Coast North energy storage project innovatively signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Zen Energy, the largest electricity retailer in South Australia, after completing key links such as land acquisition, grid access, equipment procurement, and community negotiation, providing a stable source of income for the project and further enhancing its financial stability. The participation of Tianhe Energy Storage not only enhances the technical feasibility of the project, but also provides a guarantee for the long-term benefits of the project. A stable and reliable revenue model injects a stimulant into investor confidence.
Passed the rigorous grid connection certification in Australia
Extraordinary localized delivery capability
As the supplier of the largest independent grid energy storage project in South Australia, Tianhe Energy Storage has partnered with Pacific Green to obtain grid connection permits from local power grid companies ElectraNet and AEMO (5.3.4a Letter). In the face of Australia's strict GPS grid certification, the Tianhe Energy Storage team will continue to lead the grid connection work in the subsequent stages (R1, R2). The conditions for such grid connection certification are extremely strict, with high requirements for product hardware performance and system technology.
In addition, Tianhe Energy Storage's localized technical support team in Australia can quickly respond to customer needs, providing full process services from project design, equipment installation to later operation and maintenance, and providing customers with the highest quality grid connection support services with the most professional technology and fastest response time. Andy Hsieh, the overseas delivery and service manager of Tianhe Energy Storage, expressed that he is honored to have a deep cooperation with such an excellent energy storage developer as Pacific Green. Despite the arduous task and tight timeline of the project, we have full confidence in Tianhe's excellent local delivery team, which will provide end-to-end high-quality services to the owners with the highest industry standards to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
Tianhe Energy Storage has always been committed to promoting global energy transformation and sustainable development through innovative energy storage technologies. This participation in the Limestone Coast North energy storage project, which supports Pacific Green's 10GWh energy reserve plan in South Australia, is another important milestone for Tianhe Energy Storage in the Australian market. Tianhe Energy Storage looks forward to contributing to Australia's zero carbon energy goal through this project and setting a new benchmark for the global energy storage market. Tianhe Energy Storage will continue to work closely with Pacific Green and other partners to ensure high-quality construction and operation of projects, providing stable, reliable, and sustainable energy storage solutions for investment institutions and customers.
