Infineon's brand new PSOC ™ Edge E81, E83, and E84 MCUs are based on high-performance Arm ® Cortex ®- M55 kernel, supports Arm ® Helium ™ DSP instruction set combined with Arm ® Ethos ™- U55 neural network processor, as well as Cortex ®- The M33 core is paired with Infineon's ultra-low power NNLite, a proprietary hardware accelerator used to accelerate neural networks. In addition, all three series support a rich set of peripherals, on-chip memory, powerful hardware security features, and various options for connecting peripherals, including built-in PHY USB HS/FS, CAN bus, Ethernet, and support for WiFi ® 6.
